QUALITY ASSURANCE & QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC) METHOD STATEMENT
Our QA/QC department provides third party services that represents interest of our client throughout the project and our service ensures right & cost- effective solutions for each project requirements to ensure:
- Supplier equipment, materials and facilities have been manufactured or assembled in compliance with all specified requirements.
- In compliance with all contractual specifications, mandatory regulations and quality standards. -ISO 9001:2015
1. Purpose
To define the procedures and controls required to ensure that all materials, fabrication, installation, and maintenance activities meet specified quality standards, project requirements, and international codes.
2. Scope
This method statement applies to:
- Material inspection and verification
- Piping fabrication and welding
- Valve maintenance and installation
- Equipment installation and maintenance
- Testing, inspection, and certification
3. Standards & References
All QA/QC activities shall comply with:
- API (American Petroleum Institute)
- ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers)
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Project specifications and approved drawings
4. Responsibilities
QA/QC Manager
- Ensure implementation of quality system
- Approve inspection and test plans (ITP)
QA/QC Inspector
- Perform inspections and testing
- Ensure compliance with specifications
Supervisor
- Execute work according to approved procedures
5. Procedure
5.1 Material Inspection
- Verify material certificates (MTC)
- Check dimensions, grades, and specifications
- Ensure materials are free from defects
5.2 Fabrication & Welding Inspection
- Confirm approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)
- Ensure qualified welders (WPQ certified)
- Inspect weld fit-up and alignment
- Monitor welding process
5.3 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Visual Inspection (VT)
- Radiographic Testing (RT)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
5.4 Dimensional Inspection
- Verify measurements against drawings
- Check tolerances and alignment
5.5 Equipment & Valve Inspection
- Inspect internal and external condition
